Team Ninja, the developer of the PlayStation 4 exclusive Nioh 2 via PlayStation blog post today announced that Nioh 2 crossed 1 million units sale record worldwide. Alongside, the dev also releases Nioh 2 latest update 1.09 patch notes for the game to celebrate its 1 million sale mark. Notably, the latest update brings nine new missions, new “Maniki Armor” set, photo mode, and more.
Further, in a PlayStation Blog post, Team Ninja also took the chance to announced that it will release a total of 3 sizable & badass DLC packs over the next several months to provide players additional challenges.
The dev revealed that the upcoming Nioh 2 DLC packs will bring new storylines, new yokai, ferocious new bosses, Guardian Spirits, new skills, fresh armor. It will also include a new weapon that alters the performance of skills outside of set stances. On top of all this, there will also be new difficulty levels and end-game content added to the game.
Notably, the first DLC packs called “The Tengu’s Disciple” will be available on 30th July. Additionally, Team Ninja also releases six brand new wallpapers inspired by the upcoming DLC pack to keep you guys motivated for the upcoming DLC. Check them out below.
