The Taiwan Ratings Board has leaked information that Toys for Bob is currently working on Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. The game will appear for the PS4 and Xbox One, among others.
A few hours ago, the supposed confirmation was provided by the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee, which provided a new branch of the series with an age rating. The new Crash Bandicoot project, therefore, bears the name Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time and was created by the developers of Toys for Bob. Who was responsible most recently for the Spyro Reignited Trilogy and the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.
As can be seen from the corresponding age rating of the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, among others. Even if the PC and Nintendo Switch versions have not yet been confirmed, we can probably assume that these two platforms will also be considered with an implementation.
As for the game itself, the product entry says: “Crash is relaxing and exploring his island in his time, 1998, when he finds a mysterious mask hidden away in a cave, Lani-Loli. The mask is one of the Quantum Masks and apparently knows Aku-Aku, Crash’s mask friend! With the Quantum Masks returning and a Quantum Rift appearing near our heroes, they decide to bravely head through to different times and dimensions to stop whoever is responsible.”
Due to the leak by the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee, an official announcement of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time should be only a matter of time.
