After several delays, the science-fiction role-playing game Hellpoint finally got a final release date. We’ll tell you when it starts.
In the past few months, the dark science fiction role-playing game Hellpoint has been postponed several times. Most recently from April 2020 to the second quarter of this year.
In collaboration with the publisher tinyBuild Games, the developers of Cradle Games have now unveiled the (hopefully) final release date for Hellpoint. As announced, the sci-fi adventure will be available on July 30, 2020, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG).
The action of Hellpoint puts you on a dilapidated space station. After a massive quantum catastrophe, every living creature lost its mind because the memories and bodies were merged with alternative versions of themselves from parallel universes. The accident also attracted beings of immense power that should have been left alone in the depths of other dimensions.
“You play as a mysterious nameless character whose intentions are entirely determined by your choices. You wake up in the derelict Irid Novo space station, in orbit around a supermassive black hole,” continued the makers of Cradle Games.
Hellpoint should score points, among other things, with a crisp degree of difficulty, which is based on the Souls games. It also promises an occult space story with a mix of science and fantasy and support for Coop and PvP modes.
