Keeping all the previous leaks about the upcoming OnePlus device aside. OnePlus has now officially confirmed that the previously rumored OnePlus 8 Lite and OnePlus Z, will now officially called OnePlus Nord. The company is also expected to start a limited pre-orders in India today for its upcoming OnePlus Nord device as per its official India website.
OnePlus has already confirmed, the new OnePlus Nord device will first come to India and Europe. However, the company hasn’t confirmed the exact launch date and the pricing for its upcoming phone. Previous leaks have also confirmed that the OnePlus will also come to a dual-hole punch selfie camera as seen on the Realme X50 Pro.
Now, we also have new information which tells us that the OnePlus Nord will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC. In an interview with TechRadar, OnePlus co-founder Mr. Carl Pei has confirmed that the OnePlus Nord will come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC.
Also, in a recent tweet, Qualcomm EU’s official Twitter account has also confirmed that the upcoming OnePlus Nord will come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G mobile platform, see the tweet below.
According to OnePlus UK website, the OnePlus Nord already sold out on its first Limited Pre-order that went live earlier today on July 1, with 100 units. According to the OnePlus Nord UK website, there will be two more Limited Pre-order opportunities for the OnePlus Nord, one on July 8 and the other on July 15.
As per the website, users who are interested can pre-order OnePlus Nord by making a £20 (roughly Rs. 1,900) payment, and they make the full payment after the OnePlus Nord officially releases.
Now, about the OnePlus Nord price, OnePlus Co-founder and CEO Pete Lau recently shared that the phone will cost under $500 (roughly Rs. 38,000). Lau also shared that there will be an “affordable smartphone line” and not just one phone.
