On August 19 Activision officially announced the new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War with a teaser trailer. The next game in the long-running Call of Duty series also got its official reveal trailer out on August 26 which you can watch below. The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War reveal trailer shows some real-world and in-gameplay footage of the game. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is set in a time between the years 1968 to 1981.

Open Beta Date for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War
Activision has confirmed that there will be a Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War open beta coming first on the PlayStation 4 for those who pre-order the digital copy of the game. However, there is no exact date yet for that. The open beta will allow players to play the game before its official release on the consoles and PC.
Multiplayer Reveal Date
Players who will pre-order the game will also receive access to a special operator called ‘Woods’ in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the battle royale mode, Warzone. There is also a multiplayer mode that is scheduled to get a full reveal on September 9.
Editions, Pricing and Pre-order
There are three editions of the game that can be pre-ordered now from the battle.net for PC and PlayStation Store. The Standard Edition is priced at $59.99 (Rs. 3,999 INR approx), and the Cross-Gen Bundle will cost $69.99 (Rs. 5,100 INR approx), and the Ultimate Edition that costs $89.99 (Rs. 6,500 INR approx).
The Cross-Gen Bundle is the version that will allow you to play the game on the both PS4 and the PlayStation 5 without needing to purchase a separate PS5 copy of the game.
Launch Date
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will officially launch on November 13, 2020, for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
