Samsung at the Galaxy Unpacked online event on Wednesday officially launched the new Samsung Galaxy Watch 3. As previously, reported, the Galaxy Watch 3 comes into two different dial sizes – 41mm and 45mm and features such as blood pressure (BP) monitoring and electrocardiogram (ECG). The Galaxy Watch 3 also comes with IP68 Water Resistance, and Blood oxygen (SpO2) feature. Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 Specifications
The new Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 41mm size variant comes with a 1.2-inch (360×360 pixels) circular Super AMOLED display, while the 45mm size variant of the Galaxy Watch 3 comes with a 1.4-inch display both protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass DX.
The Watch 3 is powered by the dual-core Exynos 9110 CPU, Mali-T720 GPU coupled with packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. Both the variants also come with IP68 Water Resistance, Blood oxygen (SpO2) feature that will help you measure and track oxygen saturation over time.
The Galaxy Watch 3 also supports Samsung Health Monitor app that will bring the heart rate monitoring, blood pressure (BP) monitoring, and Electrocardiogram (ECG) features to the Watch 3 in select markets.
Galaxy Watch 3 Colour Variants
Galaxy Watch 3 comes in three colour variants – Mystic Black, Mystic Bronze, and Mystic Silver. Notably, the Silver variant of the Galaxy Watch 3 only comes in a single 45mm size and Mystic Black colour option. While the other two models are stainless steel variant available in both 41mm model and 45mm model.
The Galaxy Watch 3 also comes in LTE and Wi-Fi variants for both the 41mm and 45mm sizes. So, you can pick the right one for you.
Galaxy Watch 3 Features
As for the features, the Galaxy Watch 3 comes with the heart rate monitoring, blood pressure (BP) monitoring, and Electrocardiogram (ECG) features. Watch 3 also features sleep tracking, automatic workout detection, running coach, fall detection, and women health tracking. You also get Bixby Voice assistance and gesture controls along with the sensors including PPG sensor, accelerometer, gyro sensor, barometer, and ambient light sensor.
Galaxy Watch 3 Price and Availability
The price of 41mm size Mystic Black, Mystic Bronze Galaxy Watch 3 stainless steel variants starts at $399 in the US, whereas the price of the 45mm variant starts at $429. Samsung hasan’t announced the Indian pricing and availability of the Galaxy Watch 3 yet.
Availability
As for the availability, Samsung has said that Galaxy Watch 3 will go on sale starting today in select markets globally. While the Galaxy Watch 3 Titanium variant will be available later this year.
