Marvel’s Avengers: Hawkeye DLC Character Release Date Confirmed

At the end of July, it was announced that Hawkeye will find its way into the action title after the release of Marvel’s Avengers. Meanwhile, Square Enix narrowed down the DLC hero’s release period.

As Square Enix and the developers of Crystal Dynamics promised in the context of the official announcement, the action title Marvel’s Avengers, which will be released at the end of the week, will be supported with new content over a long period of time.

Hawkeye was confirmed as the first DLC character in July this year. In the course of a current live stream, the makers of Crystal Dynamics finally went into a little more detail and narrowed the release period of the superhero. It is said that Hawkeye aka Clint Barton will find his way into the game in November and tell his very own story in the world of Marvel’s Avengers.

Concrete details about the history of Hawkeye itself have not yet been given. However, the developers of Crystal Dynamics have already indicated that the story arc of Hawkeye’s story begins after the so-called A-Day, with which the story of Marvel’s Avengers begins. So it would be conceivable that we would learn, among other things, what Clint Barton was up to in the run-up to these events.

In addition, the official Hawkeye teaser indicated that “Lucky the Pizza Dog” could also make an appearance. However, the whole thing has not yet been officially confirmed.

Marvel’s Avengers will be released next Friday, September 4th, 2020 for the Xbox One, the PC and the PlayStation 4. The PS5 and Xbox Series X will be given technically refurbished versions of the superhero spectacle at a later date.
