Demon’s Souls Remake is one of the PS5 exclusive launch games. However, a PS4 version could also be brought onto the market, as a product entry on Media Markt suggests.
The PS5 exclusive launch games are increasing. After games like Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Horizon Forbidden West were confirmed exclusively for the new console a few months ago, it was announced that PS4 players will also be able to enjoy them.
And another game could hit. The Hungarian retailer Media Markt started listing the Demon’s Souls Remake for the PS4. Even a cover was published. Typically, such dealer listings are something that is based on official plans. Nevertheless, the discovery should be taken with the usual caution.
A PS4 version of Demon’s Souls would be remarkable. Because only recently did the makers talk about the importance of the more intensive gaming experience with the DualSense controller. The haptic feedback is an integral part of it. The DualShock 4 controller naturally does not support such features.
Of course, it should not be ignored that the PS4 comes on a massive gaming basis. More than 112 million copies have been sold in the past few years. And even without DualSense features, Demon’s Souls Remake should find a lot of fans on the current-gen console.
At the same time, there are certain hurdles that separate players from their sessions on the PS5: The console is sold out. And according to the latest reports, the delivery problems will continue into the coming year.
Demon’s Souls Remake will be launched on November 12, 2020 at the PS5 launch. Players can then choose between two display modes. In resolution mode, the remake is displayed in native 4K resolution and 30fps. Smooth 60fps are waiting for you in performance mode.
