HMD Global has started rolling out the latest January 2021 security patch update for the Nokia 7.2 in India and around the world. Yes, today we got the update notification on our Nokia 7.2 device that brings the latest January security patch update to the device.
It appears that two more devices including the Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 5.4 are also receiving the latest security patch update. According to a report by NokiaMob, Nokia 6.2 also started receiving the January 2021 security update while the Nokia 5.4 is getting the December security patch.
Notably, the January security update that we received on our Nokia 7.2 device weighs 5.86MB in size and doesn’t bring any other changes or new features for the device. Check out the update screenshot below.
The update is 43.11MB in size for the Nokia 5.4, while the update size on the Nokia 6.2 weighs at 5.86MB, which’s almost the same as Nokia 7.2 update size.
