A week ago, the developers of People Can Fly announced that they were working on an update for the Outriders demo. Now the update has been released and can be downloaded on all available platforms.

As promised, there are several improvements and bug fixes. Among other things, there were minor corrections to the frame rate output in cutscenes. However, the developers are already working on a comprehensive solution, which will probably only be available in the full version.

The update fixed a special bug on the PlayStation that caused the sound to desynchronize. The links displayed in the lobby that should lead to the store have also been fixed.

In addition, the matchmaking has been adjusted, which shortens waiting times. You can also deactivate the annoying motion blur. There is also talk of minor adjustments.

There are still three weeks until the full version is released. There will probably be another update by then that will bring similar improvements. However, there will most likely not be any major innovations.

The demo version has so far been downloaded by over two million users and can therefore already be booked as a success. Incidentally, on Wednesday, the game’s creative director commented in detail on the demo and confirmed that annoying teething troubles should be removed by the time it is released. In addition, those responsible for the game provided an animated trailer in which the story is explained.

Outriders will be available on April 1st for PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC.
