Xiaomi India’s Managing Director, Manu Kumar Jain today confirmed that the upcoming Redmi Note 10 series will come featuring a Super AMOLED display panel. Notably, this would be the very first time a Redmi Note series is going to have a full super AMOLED display.
Manu announced this via his official tweet which reads: “Excited to share that #RedmiNote10 series will feature #SuperAMOLED display — 1st TIME EVER ON a #RedmiNote!”
To recall, Xiaomi earlier this year conducted a poll on its official Twitter account asking users if they want a 120Hz LCD panel or a standard AMOLED panel. In the poll, the majority of the users around 87.9% voted for the standard AMOLED panel over the high refresh rate LCD panel.
The poll result gave Xiaomi a clear hint that users want a super AMOLED display but not a 120Hz LCD panel. Now, Xiaomi has heard its user’s voice and have officially announced that the upcoming Redmi Note 10 series which is likely to include Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and top-of-the-line Redmi Note 10 Pro Max will feature a super AMOLED display.
However, Xiaomi hasn’t yet confirmed the refresh rate of any of the devices yet.
Update: Xiaomi has now confirmed that Redmi Note 10 Pro Max will Launch with a 120Hz Refresh Rate AMOLED Display.
