Resident Evil Re:Verse Open Beta Dates Revealed

With Resident Evil Re:Verse a new multiplayer title based on the popular survival horror series will be released in May. As Capcom announced, interested players will have the opportunity to test the title in an open beta before it is released.

A few weeks ago, Capcom announced ongoing work on Resident Evil Re:Verse. Here we are dealing with a multiplayer title based on the popular horror series. As the publisher announced, interested players will soon have the opportunity to test Resident Evil Re:Verse as part of an open beta.

The said beta test will take place from April 8 to 11, 2021 at 2:00 AM (EDT) on the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, whereby the backwards compatibility of the new consoles is of course also supported.

To take part in the beta, all you need is a Capcom ID and the appropriate client for your platform. The preload for the client begins on April , 2021. For full details of the Resident Evil: ReVerse Open Beta, which is intended to collect feedback on possible improvements, please visit the official website.

The new multiplayer game will appear just like Resident Evil: Village on May 7, 2021 for the PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Those who already have “Village” can download the Resident Evil Re:Verse and play at no additional cost.

In contrast to Resident Evil: Resistance, Resident Evil Re:Verse enables you to slip into the role of well-known characters such as Leon, Claire, Chris, Ada, Jill or Hunk and to fight battles at iconic locations in the series.

Bioweapons such as Nemesis, Jack Baker and Hunter Gamma are also available, with players seemingly transforming into these via pickups.
