Battlegrounds Mobile India: All You Need to Know, Pre-registration Date, Exclusive Rewards, Map and More

Last week, Krafton, the South Korean video game developer, officially revealed the long-awaited PUBG Mobile India aka Battlegrounds Mobile India. To recall, the Indian version of PUBG Mobile got banned in the country back in September 2020 along with 117 other Chinese apps. But, now the game is finally coming back to India with a new name and a host of new changes specifically made for Indian players.

Battlegrounds Mobile India Pre-registration Start Date?

Krafton, this week officially announced that the long-awaited pre-registrations for the Battlegrounds Mobile India game will kick off on 18 May 2021 from Google Play Store. However, the dev hasn’t yet revealed an exact release date for the game.

Exclusive Rewards

The developer has said that there will be some exclusive rewards for Indian players to claim. But for this, Indian players will need to pre-register for the game before its official release. We are not sure what these exclusive rewards will include but will be specific for Indian players only.

How to Pre-Register for Battlegrounds Mobile India and Claim Exclusive Rewards?

Krafton, says that players can claim the free exclusive reward just by pre-registering for Battlegrounds Mobile India by clicking on the “Pre-Register” on the Google Play Store and exclusive rewards will automatically be available to claim on game launch.

Exclusive In-game Events

The first thing Krafton announced last week is that Battlegrounds Mobile India will release exclusive in-game events like outfits and features and will have its own esports ecosystem with tournaments and leagues.

Krafton also announced that it will collaborate with partners to build an esports ecosystem while bringing in-game content regularly, starting with a series of India-specific in-game events at launch.

Updated Privacy Policy

The developer also announced that the free-to-play game will be available to play only in India with a new updated privacy policy. The new privacy policy is said to be in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in India and its players.

New Battlegrounds Mobile India: Sanhok Map

While Krafton hasan’t revealed more details about the Battlegrounds Mobile India game. The dev recently teased a new teaser for the Sanhok map on the official Facebook page. The teaser poster shows the Ban Tai map location from Sanhok, which is one of the 4×4 maps available in the game. The map was added to PUBG Mobile in September 2018.

Pre-registrations for the Battlegrounds Mobile India game will kick off on 18 May 2021 from Google Play Store.
