During the Animal Crossing Direct today, Nintendo announced that the new Animal Crossing: New Horizons free update 2.0 will be available on November 5. According to the details, the upcoming Animal Crossing free update 2.0 will bring several new features and plenty of new content to the game.
The upcoming Animal Crossing free update will add the following news features.
- The Roost will be added (with Brewster); invite AC characters via amiibo
- Kapp’n Boat Tours (takes you to new islands with different weather/time/seasons)
- Harv’s Island (donate bells to create new shops etc.)

Further, the upcoming update will also add group stretching, where you will be able to participate. The update will also allow you to cook with your own vegetables and ingredients. Max storage limit has also been raised to 5000 as well.

Notably, the upcoming Animal Crossing free update 2.0 will be the last major update for the game. After this, there won’t be any new updates for the game.
