In addition, they will support LGA1700 motherboard sockets and will feature a hybrid core system, combining eight performance cores with 16 effective ones.

The processors are reportedly due to be launched in the third quarter of this year. The new chips are expected to have a dual-core architecture and up to 24 cores.

They will have 8 Performance cores and 16 Efficient cores. As of now, there are no concrete details as to what the performance of these CPUs will be, but we can expect them to offer some impressive numbers.

The upcoming CPUs will have double-digit performance boosts. The new chips are based on the same 7nm process node as the Alder Lake family, and will be compatible with LGA1700 motherboards.

As mentioned, these processors will feature double-precision execution and will be compatible with LGA1700 sockets. This means that they will be LGA1700 compliant, so you should not have any trouble finding a motherboard that will support them.
