OnePlus has just pushed out Oxygen OS 12 update for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. This update comes with (firmware version C.48) and brings no major improvements but April 2022 security patches. The latest update is currently rolling out in select regions in India and weighs around 147MB in size.
The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus9 Pro get April 2022 security patches. This update covers the software changes made since the last patch for these two devices. The April 2022 update mainly focuses on the OxygenOS 12 build, which is based on Android 12.
Users can manually check if the OnePlus 9 or OnePlus9 Pro has received this update by going into Settings>System>System updates. After selecting the update, make sure that the phone is connected to a reliable internet connection and that you are using a WIFI connection.
You can check if you have received the update by going to the settings menu and tapping on the download and installation option.
The April 2022 security update for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus9 Pro is already rolling out to OnePlus’s flagship devices.
