A recent leak spotted on the SteamDB page for the third-person shooter hints that Returnal is coming to PC via Steam. The page mentions a section called History, and has sections called Atropos, Daily Challenge, and Tower of Sisyphus, which was recently introduced with a recent update. Another hint points to the game falling into the genre of Sci-Fi, Third-Person Shooter, and Rogue-like.

If this is true, then this would be another PlayStation exclusive that would be coming to PC after God of War, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Death Stranding, Days Gone, Horizon Zero Dawn and more. Historically, this has only happened years after the original release.

However, this is not the case with Returnal, which was only released over a year ago. The game’s SteamDB page even references the genres Bullet Hell, Rogue-like, and Sci-Fi, which are all terms that seem to be relevant to Returnal.

Sony has not made any official announcements regarding a PC version of the game, but the page mentions other titles such as God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn.

It also mentions a Tower of Sisyphus and a Helios ship. The last time Returnal was released for the PlayStation, so the game’s PC port is probably a long way off.

The rumors are correct. The game may indeed come to PC via Steam, making it another PlayStation exclusive to make the switch.

In addition to this rumor, a recent leak on the GeForce Now page also hints at Returnal’s PC release. Returnal’s SteamDB page also mentions the title’s Tower of Sisyphus mode, which is part of the game’s Ascension expansion.
