Activision has officially announced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. The game is coming to PC via Steam on October 28, 2022 and its now up for preorder to grab for $69. The game will indeed also be launching on consoles including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox One. The dev has also released the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 reveal trailer for the game which you can watch below.
The new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II trailer shows off a number of new features. This video highlights some of the improved gameplay in the game, including the ability to simultaneously dive and slide. In addition, it also shows a ledge-hanging feature that is sure to please fans of the series.
The main plotline of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is a covert war between the US and Columbian drug cartels. The campaign will feature brutal realism, gore, and unique death animations.
Modern Warfare 2 will include an all-new engine, a multiplayer mode, new gadgets, and cameras for scouting your opponents. Recently, Treyarch revealed that MW2 Ranked Play is coming to the game in 2023. It’s expected to feature many of the same multiplayer modes as its predecessors, including the Last Stand.
PlayStation players can preorder the game now to get early of the game first. All other players who will preorder any edition of the game will get early access to the Open Beta.
