Amazon Games have announced a new XP Extravaganza event that will run through June July 4th. During this event, players will receive double the normal amount of XP for their weapon skills. This will allow players to maximize their time in the New World. One of the biggest complaints about the New World is that it requires excessive grinding to unlock weapons and gain experience. However, this event is designed to eliminate the grind and provide players with a unique experience.
New World Weekly Bonus XP Extravaganza Event Dates
There will be a New World Weekly Bonus XP Extravaganza Event each week that will run from June 13, at 12AM PST Monday, through 4 July, at 12AM PST Thursday (7AM Monday – 7AM Thursday UTC).
During the XP Extravaganza Event, players will receive double XP for gathering, refining, and crafting. They will also receive a slightly increased crafting boost, boosting their overall character level and unlocking achievements.
Amazon has also confirmed that players will receive double XP for their character level during the event. This event is an excellent way to level up in the New World, so players should make the most of it while they can!

Gathering Bonus XP: June 13 – 16
Gathering skills include:
- Fishing
- Harvesting
- Logging
- Mining
- Skinning
Refining Bonus XP: June 20 – 23
Refining skills include:
- Tanning
- Weaving
- Woodworking
- Smelting
- Stone cutting
Double XP Weekend: June 23 – 26
This bonus experience will stack on top of any rested XP. That means you can earn up to x4 experience until all rested XP is depleted. Players who reach or are currently level 60 will not receive any additional level XP.
XP Extravaganza Event: July 1- 4
The 4th of July weekend will be the most exciting time to level up in New World. All of the XP bonuses will be unlocked, as well as a small boost to crafting. Rather than focusing on a single bonus, players can use the extra XP to experiment with different weapons and armors, gathering, and refining strategies. Soon, you will have a new favorite way to play the game.
