During the live stream of the Summer Game Fest 2022, we got several new announcements for the upcoming games. The show also revealed several new trailers for games that will be released over the next year. The live show also streamed the ‘Dark Water’ gameplay trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 giving us the detailed look at the gameplay and how it really feels.
The ‘Dark Water’ gameplay trailer shows off a new campaign level in Modern Warfare 2. In this demo, Task Force 141 approaches an oil rig in the middle of the ocean during a rainstorm. Once there, they clear out hostiles on the platform and disarm a missile. This action-packed level looks promising, but one question remains: how good is the intel?
The trailer shows off some new features and physics for the multiplayer mode in the game, including water-based physics. Boats and ships will slide and flip, forcing players to react accordingly.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be released on October 28. The game is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PC. The game will be released worldwide on October 28.

The game is now available for pre-order on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, and Series X/S, and PC via Steam. PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 cross-gen bundles are available as well as the Vault Edition. Infinity Ward is developing this game, with the help of eight Activision studios. The game’s release date is Oct. 28, 2022. To pre-order, you’ll receive early access to the beta.
