As we reported earlier, Samsung has confirmed the watch’s LTE connectivity and has given both the Galaxy Wear 5 and Watch5 Pro model numbers. It is not clear whether the Watch 5 Pro will be available in different colors and casing sizes. As of now, we haven’t seen any official renders or photos of the devices yet. However, renders released by EvLeaks via (via 91Mobiles) reveal that the new watches will come in silver and black and will have titanium and sapphire glass body.
The Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch5 Pro have been spotted in renders, but which one is better? Unlike its predecessor, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will have an LTE option and will be priced accordingly. Both of these devices are expected to come with a 572mAh battery, LTE connectivity, and GPS. In addition, the two watches will feature a digital bezel, instead of a rotating one.
The Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch5 Pro have been seen by several people on the Internet. While the original Galaxy Watch 4 was a cult-hit, the Galaxy Watch5 will replace it with a new Pro model.
The Watch5 Pro renders don’t show rotating bezels, but high-resolution GIFs have already been shared online. This is a great way to see the new models.
A number of reports have surfaced claiming that the new watch will launch in the second half of 2022, following the release cycle of the Galaxy Watch 4 and 3 models. These rumoured dates coincide with the date of Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event.
However, the new watch won’t be announced until August, but we can expect a definite release date later this year. So, what are you waiting for? Keep checking back to find out!
