OnePlus 10 Pro Receives Android 13-Based OxygenOS 13 Open Beta 1 Update

The OnePlus 10 Pro has received the very first OxygenOS 13 Open Beta 1 update based on the Android 13 build. The update is packed with new features and fixes to improve the user experience. Who Can Get the Latest OxygenOS 13 Open Beta 1 Update?

The OxygenOS 13 Open Beta 1 update is currently available for Indian and North American users with slight differences in features in both regions. The OxygenOS 13 Open Beta 1 update will also be available in Europe but at a later date in the near future.

What New Features to Expect in the Beta 1?

In the OxygenOS 13 Open Beta 1 update, OnePlus has made some improvements in the software and hardware. OnePlus is adding new features to its phone, including the HyperBoost Gaming Engine and GPA 4.0 frame stabiliser. Additionally, it’s adding new animations and Bitmojis to the Always-On Display.

Finally, it’s improving its system launcher. You can now customize the way apps look by customizing the ‘Smart Launcher’. This feature also features widgets, app handling, and update notifications.

How to Instal OxygenOS 13 Open Beta 1 Update on Your OnePlus 10 Pro?

Note: in order to get this build, make sure that your device is in the latest OxygenOS 12 version (A.15).

If you have a North American or Indian version of the OnePlus 10 Pro, you can install OxygenOS 13 Open Beta 1 update on the device. The first step is to download the APK file from the official announcement post.

After that, you’ll need to enable developer options and then navigate to Settings and follow the steps given below.

  1. Download the latest ROM upgrade zip package from the specified server.
  2. Copy the ROM upgrade package to the phone storage.
  3. Go to Settings -> About device -> Version -> Click Build number 7 times and enter the password, now you are in the developer mode.
  4. Go back to Settings -> About device -> Up to date -> Click the top right button -> Local install -> Click on the corresponding installation package -> Extract -> Upgrade -> System upgrade completed to 100%.
  5. After the upgrade is complete, click Restart.
  6. Update successful.
