DualSense Edge Wireless Controller Launches on January 26 for $199.99

In August, Sony announced the DualSense Edge Wireless Controller for PS5, however there was no official release date back then. Today Sony announced that DualSense Edge wireless controller will officially launch globally on January 26 with Pre-orders begin next Tuesday, October 25..

The DualSense Edge wireless controller features ultra-customizable control settings. Users can remap the buttons, change the stick sensitivity and adjust dead zones to make their gameplay more personalized. They can also save customized settings and create profiles. The controller also features dedicated function buttons that let you access your favorite settings easily.

The DualSense Edge wireless controller also features three swappable caps. The back buttons can be replaced as well as the stick modules. The controller also includes a braided USB Type-C cable that locks into place, so it won’t accidentally fall out during your game. It will also come with a carrying case, which you can use to charge your controller while on the go.

The DualSense Edge wireless controller comes with a ‘Pro‘ model with customizable hardware and software. It will work with PS5 games. It will feature adjustable-tension thumbsticks and adaptive triggers. The controller also comes with a built-in microphone and wireless connectivity.

The DualSense Edge features interchangeable stick modules, customisable controls, and customizable profiles. In addition, the controller has programmable back buttons and adaptive triggers.

Another feature of the DualSense Edge is its ability to save multiple control profiles and switch between them at will. It also includes a dedicated ‘Fn’ button that allows you to adjust the volume of your game and your chats.

The DualSense Edge controller also offers the same DualSense features as the original DualSense controller, including haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, built-in microphone, and motion controls. In addition to this, it also has a touchpad, which is always useful to use while playing games.

Price

The DualSense Edge wireless controller will be available for a retail price (RRP) of $199.99 USD/¥29,980 (including tax)/€239.99/£209.99.

In addition, the replaceable stick modules will be available globally on January 26 for a recommended retail price (RRP) of $19.99 USD/¥2,680 (including tax)/€24.99/£19.99.
