How to Fix OW2 0x87e1001a Error

The error is often accompanied by a clicking sound when inserting the disc or installing a video game. If you’re experiencing this problem on your Xbox One, there are several simple solutions.

First, you can try resetting the console. To do this, press the Xbox button. Next, select System > Console Info. Select Reset Console. In the Reset Console window, select Keep My Games and Apps. If that doesn’t work, you can try uninstalling the game.

Another way to solve this issue is to try a different wireless controller. If you are using a wireless controller, make sure that it’s powered on. If the Xbox is powered off, try using another controller until you’re able to join Xbox One players.

If you still can’t connect to your controller, you can perform a hard reset. To do this, press and hold the Xbox button for 10 seconds. Once the console powers on, press the Pair button on the controller.

Blizzard has confirmed that the next OW2 patch will be available on October 25, and will address the issues with Bastion and Torbjörn. Both heroes are expected to return to the game with this patch. It has also been confirmed that some players are still experiencing LC-208 errors and the is continuing to track down a fix for this issue.

Oftentimes, the cause of an OW2 error is server-side, but it can also be a client-side issue. For instance, during the launch day, the game’s servers were hit by a massive DDoS attack. This attack brought the servers down and caused an influx of traffic. Before you start playing the game, make sure that your system is online and that your internet connection is not congested.
