Radeon RX 7900 XTX and 7900 XT Price and Availability

AMD earlier today launched its two new graphics cards, the Radeon RX 7900 XTS and 7900 XT under its new RX 7900 Series. The RX 7900 XT and 7900 XTX both use AMD’s Navi 31 RDNA 3 architecture, which is a scalable design that uses TSMC 5nm and 6nm tech. The card’s GPU features six MCDs and an infinity cache. The lower-spec model has only 84 Compute Units.

Both GPUs offer performance leaps over the last generation. The RX 7900 XTX boasts a 1.7x higher native 4K performance. It also features expanded memory and a wider memory bus. The GPU is also capable of supporting up to 24GB of GDDR6 memory. The card also comes with HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPorts.

Radeon RX 7900 XTX and 7900 XT Price and Availability

The AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT has been priced at $899 for the official reference design model. While the RX 7900 XTX is priced at $999 which is $300 cheaper than the RTX 4080.

Both Radeon RX 7900 XTX and 7900 XT GPUs will be available on December 13, 2022. AMD will offer these cards at the same time as their Add-In-Board partners. Prices will vary for partner cards.

AMD has a history of releasing low-priced, high-performance graphics cards. The RTX 7900 XTX and 7900 XT price range are comparable to the GeForce RTX 4080 16GB model, but AMD has not yet published comparisons to the GeForce RTX 4090 16GB.

AMD’s flagship Radeon RX 7900 XT features a Navi 31 GPU with 84 CUs and a 300-watt TGP. Its base and boost clocks are 1.5/2.4 GHz, and its 20GB of GDDR6 memory is supported by a high-speed data bus and 80 MB of Infinity cache. The card also supports DP 2.1 and AV1 encode/decode.
