The next-gen update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming to the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions of the game on December 14. It will be a free download for existing owners. The new update includes all the content available for free on the original version, including the two major expansions. The free download will also include all the downloadable content for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition.
A livestream is scheduled for December 14 to show off the game’s next-gen gameplay. You can watch the livestream on Twitch to learn more about the changes coming to the game. This patch will also add ray-traced graphics and speed up loading time.
In addition to the next-gen release, the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will also receive an update featuring numerous additions and improvements, as well as the Netflix Witcher-themed additional content.
