Koei Tecmo has announced Fate/Samurai Remnant, an action RPG set in the popular Fate universe. This new game will feature a young swordsman in feudal Japan.
The Fate series is one of the most popular Japanese media franchises. It began as a visual novel and has since expanded into a large series that covers the history of humankind. Most recently, the franchise has released updates to its mobile game, Fate Grand/Order.
Koei Tecmo has recently announced that it will be producing more games in the Fate universe. These will include Fate/Samurai Remnant and Rise of the Ronin. Both of these games will release in 2023. They are being developed by the Omega Force division of Koei Tecmo, which is known for its work on the Musou and Dynasty Warriors series.
Fate/Samurai Remnant is expected to come out later this year in Japan. It will also be released on PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch in the near future. Fate/Samurai/Remnant is being produced in conjunction with Aniplex. This studio is responsible for the sharp cutscenes found in many of the series’ games.
The Fate series has a large group of heroes and servants. It will be interesting to see how this game ties into the larger Fate universe. Fate/Samurai/Remnant has a brief teaser trailer. It appears to be set in the Edo period, but we don’t know much more.
Koei Tecmo also has other big releases scheduled for the next few months. These include WILD HEARTS, which will be launching in March, and the new title Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
