At ISE 2023 in Barcelona, Lenovo unveiled the new ThinkSmart View Plus running Microsoft Teams display. Designed for remote work and collaboration, this standalone device makes it easy to start Microsoft Teams audio and video calls.
Users can communicate with their team members on a dedicated screen and keep chatter off of their PC, so they can focus on completing projects and meetings. The device also has a physical camera shutter and four-digit PIN requirement, making sure that conversations stay secure.
The ThinkSmart View Plus is powered by a Qualcomm QCS8265 processor and runs on the Android operating system out of the box. ThinkSmart View Plus has a 27-inch touchscreen along with an integrated camera microphone and speakers.
It has a detachable camera with a privacy shutter and a dual microphone array, as well as a 5-watt 2x full-range speaker for audio. The display also has one Ethernet port, an HDMI port, Display Port x 1 in / 1 out, a USB A x 2, USB C x 1 and a 3.5mm port.
Lenovo said the ThinkSmart View Plus is purpose-built for hot desking, phone booths, executive desks and home office use cases. It features premium sound and video as well as whiteboarding capabilities through a passive stylus pen and a Microsoft Whiteboard application.
In monitor mode, the device offers comfortable productivity thanks to an ergonomic stand and a convenient cell phone holder on its base. It also has a 4K IRGB camera with automatic framing and AI security that delivers crisp, clear images.
The ThinkSmart View Plus will be available in select markets starting mid-2023. It will also be joined by the ThinkSmart One, a standalone collaboration bar with premium audio and video, and the new Lenovo IP Controller for collaboration spaces.
The new products are all part of Lenovo’s growing portfolio of Smart Collaboration solutions that empower employees to collaborate on their own terms and be more productive, anywhere.
The ThinkSmart View Plus will be available in select markets worldwide starting mid-2023, from $2,345. The Lenovo ThinkSmart One and controller will be available in February 2023 in select markets worldwide, priced at $2,899. While, the Lenovo ThinkSmart One with the IP Controller will be available in select markets worldwide in the first quarter of calendar 2023, priced at $3,100.
