Activision has shared a ton of details about the Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Season 3 update, including a new BlackCell Battle Pass option. The $30 offering replaces the existing Battle Pass Bundle and comes with a ton of slick-looking cosmetics for your soldier.
The new MW2 and WZ2 Season 3 release is bringing many changes to the game. We’ll see Gunfight, Cranked, Resurgence, and Plunder return to the game, in addition to a new version of Resurgence called Massive Resurgence and an entirely new map for Warzone Ranked Play.
A New Weapon for MW2 and WZ2, the FJX Imperium Sniper Rifle is also coming to the game. This is a new take on the Intervention Sniper Rifle that launched with the original MW2 back in 2012.
The BlackCell package will include a brand-new Operator, who’s attired in an animated Camo skin. In addition, you’ll receive a Pro-Tuned Weapon Blueprint, Vehicle Skin, and Finishing Move. You’ll also have access to a full section of the Battle Pass that runs adjacent to the standard sectors, with many exclusive items available to BlackCell players.
The BlackCell package is a unique offering that provides players with exclusive skin variations to unlock. This is a first for Battle Passes in any game, and it’s something that we think will appeal to fans of unique content.
Below is everything you can expect to get with the purchase of the new COD BlackCell Battle Pass.
The new Call of Duty BlackCell Battle Pass is set to arrive with the release of the Call of Duty MW2 and Warzone 2 Season 3 on April 12.
