Blizzard Entertainment’s FPS title Overwatch 2 Season 4 arrives on April 11, bringing a new support hero, the first-ever Pride event, an abundance of skins, and more. The new update will also include balance changes and other quality-of-life adjustments to a few heroes, as well as some map changes.

Lifeweaver is the latest Hero to join Overwatch 2, and he’s here to shake things up in more ways than one. Described as an “expat Thai scientist” who dreams of healing the world, Lifeweaver has a knack for nature and creativity.

He’s a versatile support hero who can pull allies to safety, create moving platforms and grow his own healing tree — all while laying down a wide spread of projectiles that are rapidly fired from a single location. He also has a few other unique abilities that are bound to make an impression on the meta.

The latest update is a significant one, with balance tweaks and core system adjustments coming to some of the game’s most popular heroes, as well as a few key changes to maps. Some of these changes are more substantial than others, with Mercy and Brigitte getting some pretty big reworked abilities.

Brigitte’s Rally ultimate is getting a pretty huge rework, boosting her movement speed and gradually giving surrounding allies extra health as she ults. It’s also a lot easier to stun enemies with her Shield Bash move while ulting, too.

Overwatch 2 Season 4 will launch on Tuesday April 11 and will bring a new hero, plenty of space opera-themed skins and much more. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more about this exciting update.
