Objectives for the Inferno Ending
To unlock the Inferno ending in Lords of the Fallen, you must follow these specific objectives:
1. Defeat the Colossal Sentinels
The crucial first step is to defeat the Colossal Sentinels that guard the beacons. Do not cleanse any of the beacons, as doing so would lead you toward a different ending.
2. Obtain the Rune of Adyr
Collect the Rune of Adyr from the Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters location. This rune will be a vital part of your journey towards the Inferno ending.
3. Optional: Defeat The Iron Wayfarer
If The Iron Wayfarer is still alive, you can confront him at the gates of Bramis Castle. To obtain the Rune of Adyr, you’ll need to defeat him in battle.
4. Unlock the Gates of Bramis Castle
Once you have the Rune of Adyr, make your way to the gates of Bramis Castle. This action triggers a short cutscene. After this, check your inventory. You’ll notice that The Dark Crusader Rosary has been replaced with a broken version of it.

7. Approach the Effigy of Adyr
Upon reaching the end of Bramis Castle, approach and speak to the Effigy of Adyr. During this interaction, the Rune of Adyr will transform into the Empowered Rune of Adyr.
8. Use the Empowered Rune of Adyr
Utilize the Empowered Rune of Adyr on all five beacons, which are located in the following areas:
- Forsaken Fen
- Upper Calrath
- Fief of the Chill Curse
- Tower of Penance
- The Empyrean
9. Defeat Judge Cleric the Radiant Sentinel (If Necessary)
If you left The Empyrean for last, you’ll encounter Judge Cleric the Radiant Sentinel. Defeat her to proceed. However, if you cleared this area earlier, you will find her “true form” just in front of the beacon. Interact with the NPC to enter her mind.
10. Interact with Iselle
To trigger the Inferno ending, you need to interact with Iselle using the Empowered Rune of Adyr. This final interaction will lead you towards the fiery conclusion of your journey.
