Seems like the name of the next call of duty game has been confirmed. Earlier today Twitter user LongSensation tweeted that ”Call of Duty 2019 is called, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, I’m not joking.” later on the day, Kotaku’s Jason Schreier also made a tweet saying that he can confirm that the next Call of Duty game is indeed going to be called as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Jason noted that, since the first game was “Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare” so obviously the fourth one is “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.” Video games are absurd.”
Call of Duty 2019 is called…
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
I’m not joking.

I can confirm this is true, and that it’s hilarious. The first one was “Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare” so obviously the fourth one is “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.” Video games are absurd https://t.co/Ghb1m2srC4

Now, Eurogamer has also confirmed this saying that “This year’s Call of Duty game is called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, according to reports and Eurogamer’s own sources.” Moreover, they also confirm citing their source that we can expect the official reveal on 30th May.
There has been a lot of speculation since the last couple of weeks about what would be the name of the upcoming Call of Duty Game. I would like to remind you that, there has been a Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare game that was released in 2007, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
Now this year’s Call of Duty game was expected to be called as the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, but seems like there is a different name, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. However, Activision is yet to confirm what the next Call of Duty game will actually be called and when it will be finally released.
