Razer Showcased its first 27-inch Razer Raptor Gaming Monitor at CES 2019

Its not too long ago when Razer launched its first gaming smartphone the Razer Phone back in November 2017. The company is now looking forward to launch the successor of its gaming beast, called the Razer Phone 2, which is scheduled for a February 27 launch date in 2019. However, the company this year seems to be trying something new by launching its first 27-inch gaming monitor called the Razer Raptor at the ongoing CES 2019 event.

Razer Raptor Specifications

The new Razer Raptor features a 27-inch bezel-less WQHD (2560×1440 pixels) edge-to-edge IPS panel display. It has a very thin bezel of 2.3mm. The monitor also comes with AMD Radeon FreeSync adaptive sync technology with 1ms response time with Motion Blur Reduction.

However, typically the monitor is said to deliver 7ms of response time along with a 144Hz of refresh rate. The Razer Raptor also lacks Nvidia G-Sync technology.

The monitor also features Chroma-powered LED strips underneath the stand and can be can be customized through the Razer Synapse 3 application to sync the experience with other Razer Chrome-supported hardware. The stand of the monitor also features CNC-milled channels line at the back of it that holds and hides the five green wires of the monitor.

The monitor can also be tilted backward up to 90 degrees. The Razer Raptor includes an HDMI port, DisplayPort, USB Type-C, and two USB Type-A 3.0 ports.

The new Razer Rapter is expected to be available to buy for users later this this year. The monitor will be available with a price tag of $699.99 (roughly Rs. 48,800).
