Samsung Galaxy M40 received its first software update in May that brought the latest May Android security patch for the device. as its main feature. Now, according to the report from Sammobile, the Samsung Galaxy M40 is receiving yet another update that mainly focusses on the camera of the device and brings the June security patch. According to the latest firmware update changelog for the Galaxy M40, it brings improvements to the device’s camera and facial recognition performance.
According to the report, users after updating to the latest firmware update should get a bit faster facial recognition on their Samsung Galaxy M40 device. The latest Galaxy M40 firmware update brings the software version M405FDDU1ASG2 and also includes the June 2019 security patch.
The latest Galaxy M40 update weighs around 378.40 MB in size ad it can be downloaded once you receive the update notification on your device. However, if you don’t want to wait for the update then you can also download it manually by heading to your phone’s settings app.
Since the update is rolling out via OTA, I would recommend you to wait for some times, as it might take time to arrive on your device.
Notably, the Galaxy M is a new series of smartphones from Samsung which includes devices such as Samsung Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20, Galaxy M30, Galaxy M40, and the Galaxy M50.
