Super Mario Maker 2 on Nintendo Switch has received a new patch 1.1.0 update that according to the patch notes brings some new features to the game. The Super Mario Maker 2 latest 1.1.0 update now adds a new ‘Play with Friends’ feature where you can play with your friend in either Multiplayer Versus or Multiplayer Co-op modes. The new Super Mario Maker 2 patch update will now also let you select courses uploaded to Course World as well as courses saved to Coursebot.
The latest Super Mario Maker 2 patch 1.1.0 also brings a couple of features to ‘Nearby Play’ wher you will now be able to play in Multiplayer Co-op mode as well as Multiplayer Versus mode. The latest patch 1.1.0 also adds Official Makers in Leaderboards.
Further, with the Super Mario Maker 2 patch 1.1.0 update, you can now select Play Together directly from any course uploaded to a player’s profile. There is also a new ability to use touch-screen & button controls when creating courses in Handheld mode.
If you haven’t yet updated to the latest version of the game then you can update it by highlighting the game icon from the HOME Menu, pressing the + button, and selecting Software Update. Please note that you will need an active internet connection required to update to the latest patch.
