Realme X50 5G to Come with Side-Mounted Fingerprint Sensor and Enhanced VOOC Flash Charge 4.0

As the upcoming Realme X50 5G is nearing to its official launch on January 7 in Beijing China. More details about the phone have started pouring pretty frequently. This time, Realme Product Director, Wang Wei Derek has shared a new image of the Realme X50 5G which shows and confirms that the devices will come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

This makes it clear that the Realme X50 5G won’t use an in-display or a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on the phone.

So far, Realme X50 5G has been officially confirmed that it will be available in a brand new Polar colour and will be powered by Snapdragon 765G SoC. The Realme X50 5G has also been confirmed that it will come with both (SA/NSA) dual-mode 5G support, as seen on the recent launch Oppo Reno3 and Reno3 Pro smartphones.

In addition, the Realme X50 5G has also been confirmed to come with an enhanced version of VOOC flash charge 4.0. The new enhanced version of VOOC flash charge 4.0 is said to charge the device up to 70% in just 30 minutes.

Realme X50 5G will be officially launched on January 7, but we don’t know the pricing yet. However, While making its comment on the Realme X50 5G enhanced charging tech, Wang said that

“Among 5G products in the price range below 3000, X50 said that the comprehensive charging experience is the best.”

In his post on Weibo, Wang indirectly hinted that the Realme X50 5G will be priced below 3000 yuan in China, which is roughly, $428 and Rs. 30,000 INR.

A teaser from last month revealed that the Realme X50 5G will come equipped with dual punch-hole selfie camera at the front. On the rear, the Realme X50 5G is confirmed to come with the quad rear camera setup.
