A game that is currently attracting the attention of fans and professionals without having yet released in stores is definitely Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the brand new chapter of Activision’s long-running and successful first-person shooter series that is preparing to land on shelves all over the world this November.
Announced with an almost cinematic trailer during an event held within the battle royale of Call of Duty: Warzone, Black Ops Cold War will reprise some of the characters that made the first Call of Duty: Black Ops so successful and will bring players back to the interior of the historical period characterized by Cold War between the United States and the USSR.
The game will offer game modes that fans of the series have been familiar with for years, such as the single-player campaign, zombie mode and multiplayer. Precisely in reference to the latter mode, the developer Treyarch had announced that before the release of the title, players would have the opportunity to try an Open Beta of the game, without releasing information on the date on which the trial version would be made available to all.
Hypothetical release date of the Open beta may have been unintentionally made known by the store present within Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. In fact, according to what reported by the leaker COD Tracker, the in-game store present in the Arabic version of the title would say that the arrival of the beta is scheduled for October 8 and previewed on PlayStation 4, with the other platforms to follow, probably, in the next days.
Activision and Treyarch have not commented or released information regarding this information so we just have to wait for the arrival of official news, reminding you that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will release on November 13 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and later on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
