The upcoming racing game DiRT 5 from Codemasters has again received a new date. Players will have to wait a few more weeks for the title to be released.

Just last month Codemasters announced that the release of the upcoming racer title DiRT 5 would have to be delayed by a week. Although the racing game was originally supposed to be released on October 9, 2020, for the current consoles and PC, it was decided to postpone it to October 16, 2020.

Now those responsible have announced again that the title has to be delayed again. From now on, DiRT 5 is to appear on November 6, 2020, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, with Early Access being available from November 3, 2020. The implementations for the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X should continue to be published this year according to the current status, while Google Stadia will not be supplied until the next calendar year.

“It sucks, we know. Seriously, we can’t thank everyone enough for your support and excitement around DIRT S, ever since its reveal back in May. The positive feedback we’ve received from hands-on preview sessions has blown us away, too. The start line is now a little further away, but it’s still very much insight,” the official statement said.

Furthermore, the developers have once again reminded that all buyers of the current-gen version will also receive a free upgrade to the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X version of DiRT 5. They also want to reveal new vehicles, locations, a full vehicle list and more in the coming weeks.

In “DiRT 5” the developers want to be the legacy and the essence of the game series as well as open a new chapter. A more daring and bolder approach is planned, with players receiving new features, innovations and a fresh twist. More than 70 unique routes in ten different locations will send players around the world, with impressive, dynamic environments providing additional excitement. From rallycross and GT to unlimited trucks and buggies to muscle cars, there is also a large variety of vehicles available.
