Galaxy A01

Samsung has started rolling out the Android 11 update to its entry-level Galaxy A01. According to SamMobile report, the Android 11 for Galaxy A01 (SM-A015F) is now rolling out in Russia and it also brings April 2021 security patch to the phone.

The latest firmware for the Galaxy A01 comes with firmware version A015FXXU4BUD8. Users should also expect to get new Android 11 features such as refreshed UI design, chat bubbles, one-time permissions, conversation section in the notifications, and more.

If you are from Russia and have a Galaxy A01 device, your phone may already have received the update notification. If not, then you can also manually check for the update just by heading to your phone’s Settings » Software update » Download and install on your device

To recall, Samsung Galaxy A01 is one of Samsung’s cheapest phones that was originally launched in late 2019 with Android 10 (One UI 2.0).
