Easily Install Android Apps on Windows 11 With This New Open-source Tool

The Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA) is natively supported in the Windows 11 preview version, allowing you to run Android apps on your PC without the usage of third-party emulators. For the time being, you can only download apps from the Amazon Appstore because there is no support for other stores.

The Amazon Appstore isn’t as extensive as the Google Play Store, and only a limited number of Android apps are accessible for Windows 11. Thankfully, you can install Android applications and even run the Windows Subsystem for Android on non-Insider PCs without using the WSA manager by utilizing the command-line tool.

If you don’t want to utilize the command line, there is an easier way to do it (which can be difficult for beginners). WSA PacMan, a new tool available for review and criticism on Github, lets you install Android apps without using the command prompt or modifying your system settings.

As the name says, it’s a third-party open-source package director created specifically for the Windows Subsystem for Android. It acts as a stoner interface, running ADB commands in the background to install Android apps; it also employs the dereliction harborage, with no changes to the app or WSA.

WSA PacMan is a graphical stoner interface for ADB commands that takes advantage of the OS’s native WSA, so you just need to set up WSA once.

To begin, you’ll need a device that runs Windows 11 and supports the Android Subsystem for Linux. Second, check that Subsystem for Android is installed or activated, as well as the debugging option. If you don’t do this, the package manager won’t be able to install programs on your device.
