Capcom has announced the remake of its popular survival horror game called Resident Evil 4. The Resident Evil 4 announcement trailer has also finally arrived, and it looks great! The remake is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on March 24, 2023. The remake of the classic survival horror was revealed on May 2, 2022 during Sony’s State of Play showcase. While keeping the spirit of the original game, the remake promises updated visuals and controls, and virtual reality content. It also has a release date of 24 March 2023! That’s a bit late to tell us, but we can’t wait! So what can we expect in the new Resident Evil game?
Resident Evil 4 isn’t the only new game being announced today. The developers also announced the following games coming to PSVR 2.
The PlayStation VR 2 will support 4K HDR visuals, allowing you to see the world around you in a way you never have before. And PS VR is coming to PC too! Sony has also confirmed that Resident Evil 4 will have PlayStation VR content, but no further details have been revealed.
The Resident Evil 4 remake will feature many familiar characters from the original. Among the returning cast members is Ada Wong, who starred in special side content in the original.
But what role will she play in the remake? So far, Capcom hasn’t revealed the specifics, but the trailer has given us plenty to get excited! And who knows, the remake may be even better! So make sure to watch the Resident Evil 4 announcement trailer!
