Apple’s next generation iPhones are expected to use a faster 30W charging solution than their predecessors, according to tipster DuanRui. While this may not sound like much, it will be an important feature for the iPhone. Compared to other smartphones, the battery capacity on the iPhone 14 is relatively small, so a faster charging solution will be very important.

The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will feature a faster chip, likely the A16. The faster chip will help improve the battery life, although standard iPhones will still use the A15 Bionic chip. The new chip should be a big improvement for the phone, as well as the overall performance.

While Apple’s current iPhones feature a 20W charger, a 30W charger would give users more power to get the most charge from the device. Apple says that 20W delivers about half a full charge in 30 minutes, but 30W would be much more useful, especially for low-battery situations.

The iPhone 14 series is expected to include an IP68 water and dust resistance rating. The new phones are also expected to come in various colour options, including a purple variant. These models are expected to replace the mini model. Some rumors suggest the iPhone 14 Pro and Max could come in different shades of purple. As for the cameras, the rear camera housing setup looks similar to the iPhone 13 models.

The iPhone 14 Pro series is expected to be released in September. The new model will have a notch-free display and could even feature 30W fast charging. In addition to faster charging, the Pro Max will also have a larger battery, so that the smartphone could last for longer.
