During Ubisoft Forward on July 12, new details emerged about Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The 12th chapter of the saga of the famous Ubisoft brand will release on November 17th and will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia.
In addition to the material already published in the previous days, thanks to which we received some advances, 30 minutes of video were shown, in which we were able to appreciate the presence of the character of Eivor in both male and female versions.
Ubisoft specified that it will be possible to switch from one version to another at any time. Both sexes are considered canonical, and already in the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey chapter. We had been able to see them through Kassandra and Alexios, even if the choice was relegated to the initial phase of the adventure.
The director of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Eric Baptizat confirmed the above in an interview with GamesRadar. “You can decide to play male or female. [But] you are allowed to change, at any time, your skill tree or the gender of your character – you can swap at any time.”
The sequel has therefore chosen a different approach, for which the switch will be possible through the game menu and, according to the previews, due to the use of the Animus. So the character and the voice will naturally change.
This is really interesting news, but now we just have to wait for November 17th to finally be able to get our hands on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. We, therefore, hope that the defects of the previous chapters have been filled and that the software house will, therefore, be able to offer us a successful title.
